Choosing a care home is a difficult decision to make, and we are here to make a positive difference to the process for you.
Initially you will be assigned your own personal Advisor, who will then contact you to arrange an appointment to meet with you.
The meeting can either take place in your own home or in a location to suit. Before meeting with your Advisor, they will have researched all the homes that are relevant to you, your relative or friend. The Advisor will then meet with you and take you to view the care homes that they have researched and found to be suitable. We understand that each client has individual needs and, therefore, the Advisor will tailor the service to suit those needs and also remain impartial throughout.
Once a home is chosen, then your Advisor will negotiate the rates of that home on your behalf and arrange for assessments to be done. The Advisor will communicate on a daily basis to all parties so that admission to the home goes smoothly. We can also help people to relocate to homes across the UK so that clients can be near their loved ones.
How to Find a Care Home work with self funding clients as well as clients that are funded by Social Services and the NHS. Our Advisors are able to give information about the implications of these types of funding and what benefits are applicable so that an informed choice can then be made.
